István Dörnyei aka Soneec got the vibe of electronic music in the mid-1990s. From jazz to soul to hip-hop, many influential figures in the genre have shaped his musical thinking. From Detroit to London, from dirty, shaky electronics to classically orchestrated vocal houses, he finds something likable in every style. This diversity was his stairway to the professional circles. Star producers and DJs like Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso, Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, Axwell, Laidback Luke, Funkerman, Eddie Thoneick and Milk & Sugar has played his songs and remixes.
He soon became a sought-after DJ as a resident of the most popular clubs of the era. He was hosted by many clubs in Hungary and had the opportunity to play alongside many international star DJs (Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Timo Maas, Robbie Rivera or Scrumfrog). Today, not only is he traveling around the country, but he is getting more and more international invitations. Nowadays, his style includes only house, but he used his wide knowledge and scope to establish his publishers in 2005 – LIP Recordings and Dublife Music. His Success is proved by licenses such as: Head Kandi, Cafe Del Mar, Toolroom, Relese Yourself, Subliminal, Purple Music selections.
